Inside The Work
The tools we use are never one-size-fits-all.
While RIPT™ serves as the framework that guides my work, I draw from a variety of complementary and alternative interventions, evidence-informed practices, and empirically supported treatment approaches depending on your unique needs, goals, and experiences.
Together, we determine which approaches feel most supportive for your nervous system, your goals, and your healing process.
Energy Oriented Attunement
This is the observable shift of emotional intensity. Using these cues helps me track what’s moving beneath your surface and inside your body. In moments of activation, I steady my own breath and posture to support co-regulation. This is rooted in attachment and nervous system science. Attuning to your own energy helps you feel more regulated, connected, and aware of patterns that were difficult to articulate before.
Psychic / Mediumship
Psychic and mediumship-like experiences in therapy with me often show us as images, symbols, sensations, or felt impressions that rise from somewhere deeper than thought. We treat these moments as meaningful inner guidance, which often illuminate grief, identity, connection, and the unseen webs that shape your life.
Reiki
Reiki in my work is used as gentle, somatic support to help the nervous system settle. We may use it as a grounding tool that can ease protective activation and support deeper intuitive or imaginal exploration during hypnotherapy or guided imagery.
Breathwork
Breathwork in this space is a slow, attuned way of working with the body’s energy and rhythm. We use the breath to soften activation, awaken what feels shut down, and reconnect you to your own inner steadiness.
In session, I guide the pace and depth of the breath in real time, following the subtle cues your system offers. Over time, this practice builds regulation, deepens emotional clarity, and strengthens your connection to your body’s wisdom.
Meditation
I use meditation as a way to invite deeper awareness into your body through breath, sensation, and imagery. Think you can’t meditate or focus? I don’t expect you to. I guide you and teach you in a way that works for you. This practice greatly helps to reduce reactivity, expand your tolerance for emotion, and open access for deeper reflection. Wouldn’t it be nice to witness your thoughts with more spaciousness?
Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy
Hypnosis is a powerful therapeutic and energetic tool that is often misunderstood. It is not a stage show, but a treatment intervention that involves relaxation and concentration to access a unique state of consciousness. Hypnotherapy combines traditional psychotherapy with this hypnotic state of consciousness. Hypnotherapy accesses the subconscious brain, where your roots have grown and have been neglected to be seen. Understanding and resolving your conflicts on the very deepest levels offers hope. Inner child work, past life impressions, soul retrieval themes, chakra alignments, and dream imagery may naturally arise. You stay fully present and aware as we explore your deeper self.
Therapeutic Yoga for Trauma Recovery
Therapeutic yoga in this space is different from everyday yoga. It’s a slow, intuitive practice of listening to the body and honoring what it’s been holding. Through gentle movement, breath, and grounding, we work with the nervous system to release pain, anger, sadness, or tension that once needed to stay hidden for safety.
This approach supports nervous system regulation, deepens interoceptive awareness, and creates the conditions for safety, connection, and embodied healing.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy is a body-based, trauma-informed therapy approach. Through bilateral stimulation such as eye movements, sounds, or gentle tapping, EMDR supports the nervous system in processing experiences that feel stuck. Over time, distressing memories can be re-integrated in a way that allows for increased safety, clarity, and self-compassion.
Intuition (Clinical Attunement)
Using my intuition guides much of my approach. It is simply somatic tracking and interoceptive awareness by noticing and recognizing patterns. I attune to your subtle shifts in breath, tone, posture, or energy that points to something important. These impressions are offered lightly and explored collaboratively.
Embrace the nerves. Trust yourself.
We’ll find the tools that meet you where you are and help your nervous system feel safe enough to begin again.
