About Mallory Tedrick, LISW | Psychotherapist in Rocky River, Ohio
Seeking out therapy can be a challenging, scary, yet vital first step toward addressing and transforming unhealthy thoughts, patterns or behaviors rooted in past or present challenges. My personal path has led me to extend to you, unique insight, compassion, and empathy as I help you explore what mental health, personal discovery, and healing looks like to you.
A Compassionate, Trauma-Informed Approach to Healing
I embrace the connection between mind, body and soul and the essential role this relationship plays in the healing process. My goal is to ride alongside you throughout your journey of restoration.
I am not for everyone. My therapeutic style is wholesome, authentic and honest. I utilize my intuition to guide my approach. If you are committed to showing up truly for yourself and willing (although yes, terrifying) to put in “the work,” I will provide you with the dedication you deserve. Whether we meet in person or online, my goal is the same: to create a safe, compassionate space where you can begin to heal and grow. Telehealth availability is limited to Ohio residents.
Hi, by the way!
I’m Mallory Tedrick, LISW — a Licensed Independent Social Worker and a somatic and integrative psychotherapist based in Rocky River, Ohio. I specialize in trauma-informed therapy, blending approaches such as EMDR, heart-centered hypnotherapy, somatic therapy, and nervous system regulation to help clients move through anxiety, depression, PTSD, and life’s deeper transitions. Whether we meet in person in my Cleveland-area office or virtually through telehealth (for Ohio residents), my goal is the same: to create a safe, compassionate space where you can begin to heal and grow.
Blending EMDR, Hypnotherapy & Somatic Therapy
Sessions often incorporate modalities such as EMDR, hypnotherapy, somatic therapy, and nervous system regulation. These methods help you release old patterns, reconnect with your body, and create lasting change.
Creating a Safe Space for Growth and Transformation
Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or transitions in spirituality and higher consciousness, I aspire to support you on your journey toward wholeness and self-acceptance.

Education & Experience
I was born and raised in Northeast Ohio, although my journey led me to various places. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Bowling Green State University, and later pursued a Master’s Degree in Social Work from The University of Nottingham, England. My somatic, trauma-informed and spiritual lenses of life deeply influence my approach to therapy. Outside of my office walls, I am likely tending to my babies (human and plants), living life with family and friends, and finding that daily groove of balancing movement and stillness.
